Moonshades is a first-person dungeon crawler where you control a pair of adventurers who have to delve deep down into the Mountains of Greydawn where a portal to hell has been opened. Only your heroes have what it takes to stop the demonic plague from being released on humanity.
The gameplay in Moodshades is loyal to the traditional dungeon crawlers. Your two heroes always move together and can advance block by block through the dungeon. That said, just like what happens in more modern games like Legend of Gimrock, the enemies move and attack in real time.
As usual, as you destroy enemies, you'll earn experience points that let you level up. When you level up, you'll get ability points that you can distribute as you see fit. It's important to consider the fact that your characters start out as equals, but as you go along you can make each one specialized in its own right.
Moodshades is an excellent first-person dungeon crawler that's directly inspired by the classics and offers a great overall experience.
